What is Cookie Manager?

Cookie Manager is an addon that let you easily edit cookies in your browser. Simply add it to your browser and start surfing the web. For any webpage that you would like to edit cookies, please click on the toolbar button. Once the popup is ready, you can see the list of available cookies for the active tab. Each cookie has seven different properties. In order to edit any cookie, please click on the edit button next to each cookie item. If you want to delete a cookie, please mark the checkbox next to a cookie and then click on the remove button on top toolbar. There are few buttons in top toolbar which are explained in the following FAQs.

How can I work with Cookie Manager addon?

This addon has two options for rendering the UI. You can either open it in toolbar popup or a new tab page. Please right click on toolbar button to see all the available options. Once the UI is open, you can see the list of available cookies. Each cookie has a remove and edit button (left side). Please press on these buttons in order to manage cookies. On the top left corner in toolbar popup, there is - Add a new - button which you can use to add new cookies to the current tab. Other buttons in toolbar popup are self-explanatory.

Is there an options page for this addon?

No, this addon has no separate options or settings to adjust. There is just once setting and that is, the opening location for the app UI which is available as the context-menu item in toolbar popup. Please note that, default location for the app UI is toolbar popup.

How can I remove all cookies for the current tab?

In order to remove all cookies, please browse to a website and then open the app UI. Within the UI, please click on the top checkbox. Once all the check boxes are marked, click on the remove button at the top toolbar. Alternatively, you can click on the - Clear All - button next to the remove button in order to delete all cookies.

Can I use this addon in my Android or IOS device?

Yes, this addon is supported in all modern devices, as long as you have a browser that supports addons or extensions. Currently, opera and firefox browsers support adding extensions in mobile devices. Please note that, using extensions in mobile devices may not be as comfortable as using them on your desktop machine. This is due to the screen size limitations in small devices.

Can I search for a cookie in the app UI?

Yes, you can search cookies via the search toolbar available in the toolbar popup.
